Beijing and Shanghai Visit

November 29 to December 9

I will be in Beijing and Shanghai over the course of ten days to view the auction previews at Poly, as well as visit local major museums, and dealers/collectors. Highlights will be trips to the Palace Museum, Capital Museum , and Shanghai Museum. The Great Wall and Shanghai Disneyland might also be a possible destination!

Hong Kong Visit

November 23 to November 28

I will be visiting Hong Kong to meet with clients and collectors, and attend the Hong Kong series of Chinese Art exhibitions. Highlights will include the major Chinese Art auction previews at Christie's and Bonhams. Please send me an email if you will be in Hong Kong during that time.

 

Toronto Appraisal Day @ The Albany Club

November 14

I will be at the Albany Club (91 King Street East) with fellow art appraisers on November 14 from 5:30 to 8:30. I will be appraising Asian Art, while my fellow colleagues will be examining European and Canadian Fine Art, jewelry, sports memorabilia and general decorative arts. Visitors must be members or accompanied by a member of the Albany Club.

New York City Visit

November 9 to November 12

I will be in NYC for four days to attend the Appraisers Association of America's two-day national conference. Afterwards I will be visiting various clients, galleries and museums.

Asian Art in London

November 1 to November 8

I will be visiting London England for 'Asian Art in London' festivities. Highlights will include the Asian Art previews at Bonhams, Christie's and Sotheby's, as well as gallery and museum openings. If you will be there, please send me an email.

Tour of the Asian Art Galleries at the Royal Ontario Museum

July 16, 10:30-12pm

I will be hosting a quick 1.5 hour introductory tour of the Chinese galleries at the ROM. Space is limited as we will go through objects including porcelain, earthenware, jades, Buddhist sculptures, bronzes, and paintings.
