Incredible! It's been less than 2 years, but my Instagram account @anthonywuart just hit 900 followers! A big thank you to everyone who have 'liked' my posts, and I will continue to showcase my Asian Art adventures through Canada, the USA, Europe and Asia. The next milestone will be the 'big 1000' which should occur sometime in the late Spring.
Anyways, I recently returned from New York Asia Week and I should be able to put together a highlights report in the next few days about the galleries, auction previews and museums I visited. There was just too much to see this time around, but hopefully I can group together some interesting images and news about the Asian Art scene.
In the meantime, I am in the midsts of preparing for my Vancouver Asian Art appraisal and valuation trip at the beginning of April. Fingers crossed that I will be able to come across some interesting collections and antiques!
Even though I specialize and consult mostly on Chinese porcelain, paintings and Buddhist sculpture, I am also constantly searching for artwork from Japan, Korea, the Himalayan Region, India, Southeast Asia, and the Islamic World.
